Author Biography

Sissy Goff, MEd, LPC-MHSP is the Director of Child and Adolescent Counseling at Daystar. The author of seven books, she is a monthly contributor to Parenting Teens and ParentLife magazines. Sissy has a master's degree from Vanderbilt University and is a sought-after speaker for parenting events.

David Thomas
, LMSW, is the Director of Family Counseling at Daystar. He is a popular speaker for parenting events and is the author of seven books. David and his wife, Connie, have a daughter and twin sons.

Melissa Trevathan, MRE, is the Executive Director of Daystar Counseling Ministries, which she founded in 1985. A graduate of Southwestern Baptist Seminary, she's written seven books and spoken at churches, schools, and graduate programs across the country.
